【OUTLINE】This is a workshop you can make Miyagi's local dishes of 'Zunda-mochi' and 'Suppoko.' You will be taught by Fukuhara-san, known as the local Mom. She speaks only in Japanese, but she tries to communicate with you using gestures. Zunda-mochi is a local sweet of rice cake covered in sweetened mashed green soybeans. It is popular with locals in Miyagi, and also throughout Japan. Suppoko is a vegetarian home cooking inherited from generation to generation in the Tohoku Region.
