However, implementation is still in early stages of development. Production of significant numbers of entangled bits has not been achieved, as the generation of entangled systems is not yet scalable. We propose an alternative generation scheme of entangled photons, based on entanglement in both the space and time domains. In this work, we have provided the proof of concept. In this thesis, high-order harmonics are investigated experimentally in temporal and spectral domain. In spectral domain, an interference structure between the two shortest electron quantum paths of the generation process is observed. These interferences are investigated with laser intensities below, around and above the intensity of barrier suppression. To enable attosecond time-resolved measurements, a versatile beamline is developed and implemented. Typical attosecond experiments rely on a cross-correlation measurement of the combined XUV / IR fields with attosecond resolution. Attosecond pulse trains (APT) are temporally characterized by means of a RABBITT (reconstruction of attosecond beating by interference of two photon transitions) measurement. These APTs are then used in an all-optical XUV/IR pump-probe measurement in a dense helium gas target. The absorption is influenced by a strong IR field. This experiment can be regarded as the first all-optical XUV/IR pump-probe measurement with attosecond resolution.

General Motors' Generation II LT is a small block V8 engine. Making its debut in the 1992 Chevrolet Corvette, the new LT sought to draw upon the heritage of the ultimate small- block, the 1970 Chevrolet LT-1. A significant improvement over the original Generation I V8 is the Generation II LT's "reverse cooling" system, allowing coolant to start at the heads and flow down through the block. This keeps the heads cooler, affording greater power through a higher compression ratio and greater spark advance at the same time it maintains higher and more consistent cylinder temperatures. Few parts from the Generation II are interchangeable with the old Generation I engine. The LT uses a new engine block, cylinder head, timing cover, water pump, intake manifold, accessory brackets, and front-mounted "opti-spark" distributor. Engine mounts and bell housing bolt pattern remain the same, permitting a newer engine to be readily swapped into an older vehicle.
